George Floyd

  • Floyd was a former student athlete, and doting father.
  • He moved to Minneapolis from his native Houston several years ago in hopes of finding work and starting a new life
  • Floyd was murdered by 4 officers on May 25th 2020.
  • 1 officer was arrested and charged with Murder, the 3 others have not been.

Breonna Taylor

  • Breonna Taylor was working as an EMT in Louisville when the coronavirus pandemic hit the country, helping to save lives while trying to protect her own.
  • Breonna was Murdered by officers in her own home on March 13th 2020.
  • Breonna’s boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, was also in the apartment and shot at officers when they attempted to enter without announcing themselves.
  • Kenneth was arrested and faces charges, No officers have been charged.

Ahmaud Arbery

  • Ahmaud was jogging outside Brunswick, Georgia, when two white vigilantes chased him after him.
  • The two vigilantes Murdered Ahmaud on February 23rd 2020.
  • The two vigilantes were arrested and charged with Felony Murder and assault.

Dominique Clayton

  • Dominique was the mother of 4.
  • Dominique was murdered in her home on May 19th 2019.
  • She had a relationship with the officer who killed her.
  • The officer was fired, arrested and charged with Capital Murder.

Eric Reason

  • Eric was a native of Vallejo California.
  • He was an aspiring rapper going by "Cheddaman".
  • Eric was Murdered by an officer on November 10th 2019.
  • The officer was not arrested nor charged.

Ataiana Jefferson

  • Atatiana lived in Fort Worth, Texas, and lived with and cared of her mother and nephew.
  • She was a premedical graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana.
  • Atatiana was Murdered by a officer in her own home on October 12th 2019.
  • The officer was arrested and charged with Murder.

Botham Jean

  • Botham was born in Saint Lucia and came to the United States.
  • He was a graduate of Harding University and an accountant for PwC.
  • Botham was Murdered in his apartment by an off-duty officer, on September 6th 2018.
  • The officer was arrested, tried and convicted for Murder.

Philando Castile

  • Philando was born in St. Louis Missouri, he was a caring father and partner.
  • He worked for Saint Paul Public School district, first as a nutrition services assistant and promoted to supervisor.
  • Philando was Murdered by a officer in his car, at a traffic stop, on July 6th 2016.
  • The officer was fired, and charged with Manslaughter, he was acquitted.

Freddie Gray

  • Freddie was a son, a brother and a twin.
  • He lived with his sisters in Baltimore Maryland.
  • Freddie was Murdered in the custody of officers after being arrested on April 12th 2015.
  • The six officers were charged with Murder or Manslaughter, all charges were either acquitted or dropped.

Walter Scott

  • Walter was a son and father from Charleston South Carolina.
  • He was a forklift operator, studying massage therapy. He previously served in the Coast Guard for two years.
  • Walter was Murdered by a officer in the back on April 4th 2015.
  • The officer was fired, and after an initial mistrial, plead guilty to Violation of Civil Rights.

Natasha McKenna

  • Natasha was a mother and a daughter.
  • She had a 7 year old daughter. She had schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder and depression.
  • Natasha was Murdered by officers while in police custody on February 8th 2015.
  • None of the officers involved were charged.

Tamir Rice

  • Tamir was a 12 year old boy, son and brother, living in Cleveland Ohio.
  • Tamir was playing in a park with a toy gun, when he was Murdered by two officers on November 23rd 2014.
  • His sister was handcuffed and restrained after running to his body, after the murder.
  • 1 officer was fired, neither were indicted by a grand jury.

Ezell Ford

  • Ezell was the oldest of seven children, and was from Los Angeles.
  • He suffered from depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
  • Ezell was Murdered by two officers on August 11th 2014.
  • Neither officer was charged.

Michael Brown

  • Michael was from Ferguson Missouri and was 20 years old.
  • He had graduated from Normandy High School eight days before his death.
  • Michael was Murdered by an officer on August 9th 2014.
  • The grand jury decided to not indict the officer.

Eric Garner

  • Eric was a husband, a father of 6, a grandfather of 3, a New York native.
  • He worked for the New York Parks and Recreation as a horticulturist.
  • Eric was Murdered by numerous officers on July 17th 2014.
  • One officer was fired, none of the officers were indicted.
